Recently I have started following a mini pamper routine that I do just before I sleep. I keep all of my bedtime essentials in an old Boudoir Prive box which has a magnetic lid. It keeps everything compact and in one place so I don't have to get out of bed to look for anything.
Lavera Basis Hand Cream (£4.45) From washing dishes to cleaning, my hands don't get the best of treatment sometimes, so I try to moisturise my hands religiously. My current favourite hand cream is this one from Lavera. I first discovered it from my January Birchbox and after being wowed by it, I purchased the full size. It has a sweet almond scent and most of it's ingredients are natural and organic.
YuBe Moisturizing Skin Cream (£13.00) Another product from a previous Birchbox is this medicated multi-purpose Japanese moisturiser. I have tried applying this to my lips and it just didn't work for me, so I use this little tube to add some nourishment to my cuticles. It's not something which is amazing but it's another sample which I need to use up.
Balance Me Radiance Face Oil (£15.00) I have never quite understood face oils and to be honest I still don't. I got this from a beauty swap and I dug it out recently with the intention to use it up. It comes with a rollerball applicator to help with ease of application. I like to use this around my nose and to add some extra moisture to areas on my face where I suffer with dryness.
Origins Super Spot Remover (£14.00) Blemishes, oh blemishes, oh blemishes. Yes I'm in my mid-twenties and I still suffer with the odd blemish. I apply this with a cotton bud if I can feel any blemish wanting to make an appearance. Despite it being only teeny 10ml bottle, a little really does go a long way. This is probably one of the only spot treatments that I have found which actually works for me.
Monu Professional Skincare Moisture Rich Collagen Cream* (£22.50) This is a Turkish Delight lovers dream, as it smells just like the real thing because of the rose oil it contains. I like using this as a kind of face mask when my dry skin needs some moisturise and some TLC. It doesn't make my face feel uber greasy and it sinks in fairly easily. I'd recommend it for anyone who has dry skin as an occasional skin treat.
Palmer's Olive Butter Formula Concentrated Cream (£2.49) I haven't found a foot cream which performs as well as this does. I generously apply a thick layer of cream and then pop on some socks to get rid of any dry skin on my feet and to make them super soft.
Biotherm Aquasource Eye Cream* (£22.50) I always forget to apply eye cream when I moisturise my face, so that's why this is sat by my bedside so I don't forget. It comes with a rollerball applicator and it has a cooling effect on the eyes.
Dr Lipp Original Lip Balm For Lips (£11.50) This lip balm is really a little miracle worker. However due to it's extremely thick consistency I can only use this at night time. I like to apply this before sleeping to repair my dry or chapped lips before morning.
Cuticle Pusher (99p) My cuticles most of the time seem to have a mind of their own so I use this to shape them. I picked up a pack of ten of these from eBay for just under a quid and they really do make a difference when it comes to making your hands more presentable.
